Televisit
What is Tele-Visits?

Tele-Visits utilizes digital communication technology such as computers and mobile devices equipped with a camera, in order to allow patients to access health care services remotely without having to physically come into the doctor’s office for an appointment.

What is unique about Premier Tele-Visits?

Here at Premier we aim to provide patients with an immersive and interactive healthcare experience through Tele-Visits by utilizing various platforms. Through Tele-Visits we as healthcare providers will be able to present medical information, make diagnoses, perform physical examination, order appropriate diagnostic testing, make appropriate referrals, and provide necessary treatment.

Why is Tele-Visits safer?

Tele-Visits will allow us to present medical information, make diagnoses, perform physical examination, order appropriate diagnostic testing, make appropriate referrals, and provide necessary treatment all from the comfort of your own home. This will allow for “social distancing” thereby saving you from having to make a trip to the doctor’s office and limiting your exposure and direct contact with others.

What do I need to do in order to set up Tele-Visits?

All we will need from you is valid photo identification and proof of insurance. Our schedulers will gladly assist you in scheduling a Tele-Visits appointment or converting your current appoint over to our Tele-Visits platform.

Does my insurance cover Tele-Visits?

Given the current state of affairs, the federal government has enforced all major insurance carriers to provide patients with coverage for Tele-Visits.
